Here’s how you make some nice White Sauce Pasta:

I LOVE PASTA. To an extent that I can eat pasta all day everyday and not complain. Out of all the pasta recipes that there are, this particular one, with its combination of ingredients, I like best.

So, lets get started:

This recipe is divided into two parts. The first being the sauce, and second being the vegetable saute. In the end you mix everything together with the boiled pasta and your done. As you’ll see, this recipe is very easy. With the pre preparation and the cooking, the entire processes should not take more than an hour.

The sauce –

For the sauce you will need:

2 tbs of butter

2 tbs of all purpose flour

4 cups of milk

Salt to taste

Sugar to taste

Black pepper powder

and dry herbs of your choice, I used oregano, chilli flakes and more mixed herbs XD

In a pan, melt 2 tbs of butter.

Add the all purpose flour, whisking it continuously to avoid any lumps.

After the butter-flour mixture has been on the pan for some time, add the milk, again whisking it continuously. (If lumps do still remain, don’t worry, we’ll sort that towards the end)

Now add all the dry ingredients mentioned above (salt, sugar, pepper, dry herbs). If you feel the sauce has become too thick or that it won’t be enough to coat the pasta, add some water at this stage. Once you are happy with the taste of the sauce, take it of the flame and keep it aside. If your sauce is lumpy, go ahead and put this entire mixture into the blender (insert smart face emoticon here).

Time for the sauteeeee:

You will need:

1 tbs of butter

2 big onions

1 1/2 tbs garlic paste

2 green capsicums

I like this combination of these veggies, so whether you like these vegetables or not, STICK TO THEM.

Heat some butter and throw those onions in.

Then add the garlic paste

After the onions have turned translucent, add the capsicum.

Don’t cook the capsicum for too long, you want to keep it crunchy, so immediately add the olives.

Now take the sauce you made before and pour it in. Check for salt, you’ll have to add a pinch more for the vegetables. and tada, you are done. All you have to do now is add boiled pasta.

And this is what the dish should look like:

You are welcome, I know it tastes good 🙂

That is it for today, I hope you found this helpful ❤
